Seven Wonders Mailer
This is a mock mailer that I created to boost world travel by highlighting the seven wonders of the world. I gave a brief history of each of the monuments and included a map of the world and where they were located. This also folds up into an envelop that can be sent through the mail. -
Typographic Playing Cards
These are a mix of computer and letter press design. I worked on the heart, diamond, spade, and clubs symbols on the computer and then printed them on the card stock, then I had to carefully lay out the numbers and letters on the letter press to align with each of the cards and then run them through with the two different colors. -
Product Design
This project was to create a literary gum, which was very much up to interpretation on what that meant. I went with the idea that gum is usually an impulse buy and so it could be used as a vehicle to promote reading. so I took three literary genres and created the packaging to not only hold the pieces of gum but to incorporate a fold over cover. The cover can be ripped off the package and used as a book mark that also has a check list of popular books from that genre for inspiration on what to read. -
Africa Guide and Journal
This was a project that I came up with. It is a guide book and journal set for travels to Africa. I collected the content inside which touches on climate, landscapes, and the animals of Africa. I designed the layout of the pages including the lined pages in the journal for writing. I created the covers which have an embossed silhouette of the African continent. I also bound the books with a traditional coptic binding.
